Two-year Kimi Day Anniversary!

Two years!  TWO YEARS!  Has it really been TWO WHOLE YEARS???  Unbelievably, YES!  Two years ago, we woke up in Nanjing, China, met our guide in the hotel lobby....

...and boarded a minibus with the two other MAA families.  I remember leaning over and quietly saying to Mike, "I cannot believe this day is actually here.  We are actually on our way to meet our daughter!  It is like the day we met Elizabeth; it does not feel real."  We arrived at the Adoption Registry building in Nanjing, followed our guide into the building...and there she was...little Zhang Lan...sitting on the orphanage Assistant Director's lap, in a little fur-collared pink coat and pink hairband...oblivious to the fact her life was about to change forever...as was ours!
