Kimi's 5th Birthday!

Kimi turns 5 tomorrow! So, since we have a couple of things scheduled for tomorrow evening, we celebrated with our family this evening! Kimi had a GREAT time opening her birthday presents, and actually ate some cake and ice cream! One year ago, she was still just drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast and just starting to drink from a sippy cup, instead of a baby bottle.  She especially loved the stuffed pony and the baby doll each of her older big sisters gave her!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIMI!!!

Asher and Levi are HOME!

Our oldest daughter, Rachel, and her husband Chris, brought home their new twin baby boys, Asher and Levi, last night!  This was after eight weeks in the NICU which followed over a month of Rachel's being monitored 24/7 in the high risk area of the hospital. The babies are doing great - just on apnea monitors for awhile. They were welcomed home by their six big brothers! Then, today, after spending the morning with our Life Group completing our "We Love Avon" project (stopped last week due to lightening), Rachel and Chris brought our newest grandsons over for a visit! Elizabeth and Kimi met them for the first time, since children were not allowed in the NICU! Kimi absolutely LOVES Asher and would have walked off with him, if she had half a chance! She obviously LOVES babies! Here are photos - all but Elizabeth still had our "We Love Avon" shirts on!
