We are Mike and Kathy Perry. Now that Kimi has come home, we are the parents of FIVE children! We also have 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. This blog was originally for our journey to bring Kimi home (see archives). Now, feel free to follow along as God's plans for Kimi begin to unfold before our eyes.

Kimi's 5th Birthday!
Kimi turns 5 tomorrow! So, since we have a couple of things scheduled for tomorrow evening, we celebrated with our family this evening! Kimi had a GREAT time opening her birthday presents, and actually ate some cake and ice cream! One year ago, she was still just drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast and just starting to drink from a sippy cup, instead of a baby bottle. She especially loved the stuffed pony and the baby doll each of her older big sisters gave her! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIMI!!!

Oh! Happy Birthday Kimi! I hope you had a wonderfully special day.
ReplyDeleteHi, Kristin, and thank you! How are things going with your new son, Willem, also from Huai'an?
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! Willem is doing great! We all are-he just fits right in. He amazes me every day with things he knows. We are in Iowa City tonight for his 6th casting for his club feet. Tomorrow we will find out if this will be his last or if he needs one more casting.
