Three post-adoption home visits are required by the China Center of Adoption Affairs. Today, our caseworker, Jennifer, completed our second post-adoption home visit. When she arrived, Kimi immediately held up her arms to Jennifer, and said, "Up?". Kimi was SO funny...standing on her head, rolling on the floor, being silly and giggling...a very different little girl than when Jennifer was here for the six-week visit! She showed Jennifer how she dresses and "feeds" her dolls and how well she can stand now! We have been SO blessed to have such a wonderful caseworker for this adoption! If it were not for her timely completion of our homestudy, we would not have been able to bring Kimi home as soon as we did, and Kimi would have been stuck in that crib in China even longer. Well, it dawned on me today, that we had no photos of Jennifer with Kimi. So, before she left, I took the attached photo! We are SO thankful for Jennifer!

It's amazing how much they change between visits. You're lucky to have such a prompt social worker! Our home study was held up several times, and the CCAA has changed the rules about post-adoption visits; we now need five years of them.
